Understanding Chinese Culture

Some 40 people attended the recent Cultural Understanding Workshop at OnePeople.sg. This 3 hour workshop conducted by Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations provided participants with useful knowledge on Chinese culture. Participants got to know more about the major Chinese festivals celebrated in Singapore, Chinese customary practices and a little on the history and significance of clan associations in Singapore. Non-Chinese participants too got to sample Chinese New Year goodies and understood Chinese customary practices.
