This Workshop is designed to provide community leaders, who are at the forefront of maintaining racial relations, with the knowledge to use social media platforms to build their online presence. Participants will be led through exercises to:

(a) identify contents that appeal to their target audience;
(b) determine the content mix of their social media pages for maximum engagement;
(c) develop their posting plan;
(d) successfully source for and generate contents (including writing for social media);
(d) promote their contents for maximum reach;
(e) monitor social media chatter to improve content generation; and
(f) manage negative online postings.

  • Monitoring social media chatter to improve content generation – Learn and apply the SCAER Framework for managing negative online mentions
