IRCC Retreat
On 12 March, 2016, a Retreat was held for all 89 Inter Racial and Religious Confidence Circle (IRCC) Chairmen, Vice-Chairmen and youth members. The retreat aimed at increasing awareness in five steering committees, namely, Outreach, Youth, Crisis, Social Media and Newsletter. It was a platform where participants could apply their networking skills to build trust, a cohesive team and enhance their relationships with one another.
The theme for the retreat was “Cohesion, Vigilance & Resilience”, which maps out what the IRCCs set out to focus on for the coming year. One segment of the programme comprised of participants reflecting on what “Cohesion, Vigilance & Resilience” meant to them and how they could promote and incorporate the theme into their work plan for the coming year.
“It was a good networking session as we were able to meet various chairmen and their committees. I would like to request IRCCs to look into IRCC Cares and Family Day events.”
