Intercultural Skills Workshop
The Intercultural Skills Workshop introduced participants to key intercultural communication skills and has collaboratively reviewed local intercultural conflict case-studies to apply skills to the IRCC context. Objectives of the workshop are as follows:
- To increase participants’ intercultural communication awareness, knowledge, skills and comfort level to interact more with different ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds
- To improve intercultural relationships are the individual level and societal level
- To explore how to build a more cohesive, inclusive society
Participants also had the opportunity to share personal experiences on guided topics to help the group better understand the different perspectives of various communities.
