Ground Sensing Workshop
The workshop equips the participants with the necessary know-how to better understand ground issues and manage racially-charged situations before it escalates. Accurate ground sensing is key to understanding ground issues and participants will be taught a framework to perform this task effectively.
Workshop Objectives

Understanding the impact of ground issues and developing the righttechniques for ground sensing
- Identifying the barriers and fault lines to community engagement
- Learn techniques and skills in mediation and facilitating a conflict of a racial/religious nature within the community
Programme Outline:
- Why is Singapore particularly vulnerable to Racial issues?
- Barriers and fault lines resulting from these issues
- The critical steps to handle Racial issues
- Communication Reinforcement – at a quick glance
- 6-Step framework for accurate sensing
- Participants will be equipped with skills and understand the necessary steps for accurate ground sensing. There will be also interactive role-plays based on real-life case studies
