The Crisis Management Workshop organised by is a workshop aimed at equipping IRCC members with the necessary knowledge, aptitude and tools to maintain calm and monitor sentiments on the ground during crises which may undermine racial and religious relations in Singapore. It also aims to equip constituents to diffuse the situation and take necessary steps prevent future incidences. It aspires to equip IRCCs with the relevant skill sets to create sustainable community re-building strategies in the immediate aftermath and to enable efforts to help society return normalcy in the long-term.

Workshop Objectives

  • Manage crises with ethnic and religious undertones

  • To ensure preparedness and mitigate situations in times of crisis

  • Be equipped with the necessary skills to plan community projects to build trust

  • To build confidence with the members in the community in maintaining racial and religious harmony in Singapore during a crisis

  • Prepare key messages during a crisis

  • Ensure the readiness of your team to face such crises
