Dr Farid Al Atas is a well-known speaker in the inter-faith circles of Singapore. A doctorate graduate from John Hopkins University, he gave the keynote address at the opening of the IRO Multi-Faith Studies Programme in 2004. He has been interviewed by CNN & Channel NewsAsia for his expertise on many occasions.
The topic for Dr Farid’s inter-faith dialogue is “The Relevance of Islam Today”. He discussed about how the doctrines in the religion continues to be proficient in guiding the lives of the followers in today’s modern society.
