Ground Sensing Workshop (PA INC)

More than 200 participants from the People's Association Integration and Naturalisation Champions (INC) division attended the Ground Sensing Workshop. The workshop was conducted over four days from 4th to 6th October, and on 13th October 2012.

The trainer, Mr Viswa Sadasivan, talked on the barriers to community engagement, techniques for ground sensing and discussion of real-life case studies.

Ground Sensing Workshop (July 2012)

On 21 July 2012, a Ground Sensing Workshop was conducted for 34 IRCC members from Choa Chu Kang, Jurong and West Coast Group Representative Constituencies (GRCs). The half-day workshop conducted at the Civil Service College, aimed to heighten awareness on racial and religious sensitivities. The IRCC members learnt to identify ground issues that may lead to conflicts and were equipped with techniques to mediate a conflict racial/religious in nature.

Ground Sensing Workshop (Feb 2012)

OnePeople.sg conducted the Ground Sensing Workshop for all Deputy Constituency Managers and Constituency Managers from People’s Association on 17th, 20th and 27th February 2012. The objectives of the workshops were to equip the participants with the necessary know-how to better understand ground issues, impart skills and competency to manage racially-charged issues on the ground.  The engaging programme which was conducted by Mr Viswa Sadasivan, CEO Strategic Moves Pte Ltd covered areas such as barriers to community engagement, techniques for ground sensing and discussion of real life case studies.
