OnePeople.sg organises a series of programmes to effectively engage and build the capabilities and capacities of our stakeholders in the promotion of racial harmony. OnePeople.sg works with community partners to strengthen its reach and supports worthwhile public education efforts organised by the community, religious or grassroots groups to promote racial and religious harmony.
The OPSG–IRO Inter-Faith Dialogues are held for each religion according to the chronology of the advent of the different religions Hinduism, Judaism, Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, Taoism, Jainism, Christianity, Islam, Sikhism and Baha’i Faith. And at times we will hold certain topics of key importance based on the current affairs in the society.

The Basic Counselling Course organised by OnePeople.sg is aimed to develop IRCC Members' critical listening and questioning skills in conveying emphatic responses effectively. The course has also enabled them to enhance their ability to exercise and convey empathy in the possible scenarios that they might encounter as an IRCC Member through the hands on activities that were done during the course. First launched in 2010, OnePeople.sg has been organising New Media Courses for the IRCC Members to explore new ways that they can use to reach out to the community via new media and social media. With training that includes videos , quizzes and hands- on activities, this course has equipped the Community Leaders with skills that can continue to use to reach out to their residents in a more effective and innovative way. The Media Appreciation Workshop for inter-Racial and Religious Confidence Circle (IRCC) members, community leaders, grassroots Leaders, individuals involved in the Community Engagement Programme and spokespersons aims to provide participants with the basic understanding and appreciation of the media environment.
The workshop touches upon how the media operates, why it is important to engage the media and how to get the message across. Upon successful completion of the workshop, participants will be able to understand the current media landscape – both mainstream and new media.
Participants would be able to appreciate the key forms of media engagements and situations, fundamentals of strategic communications and strategies and tactics to gain media mileage. The course will raise awareness of OB-markers and rules of authorisation as well as introduce the various media platforms to participants.

Reflections: Unfolding Faith and Ethnicity brings you on visits to heritage centres and iconic places of workshop to explore and appreciate the unique cultures and practices of a specific faith or ethnicity.
Participants will engage in a dialogue with religious leaders to understand the significance as well as the sensitivities associated with religious or cultural practices.
The hands-on activities and guided tours also allow participants to experience first hand, the rich cultures and heritage of our multi-ethnic and multi-religious society.

The 1-day Mediation Course for Community Leaders enables participants to understand the key concepts of mediation and apply the principles in dealing with inter-ethnic conflicts.
Conducted by an experienced trainer Mr Viswa Sadasivan, CEO Strategic Moves, the Mediation Course will engage participants in a series of interactive discussions, hands-on practices, role plays and sharing of views and experiences.
Participants are able to explore the barriers to community engagement and how these affects one's ability to mediate inter-ethnic conflicts. Contents of this course also cover topics such as identifying and addressing fault lines, recognising the need for mediating diverse interests, and understanding the roles of a mediator. The role-play sessions in the course also allow participants to experience the various stages of mediation and at the same time, better understand differing perceptions and positions.

Introduction to Religions workshop aims to raise awareness and understanding of the ten religions recognized under the Inter-Religious Organisation (Singapore); which are Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Sikhism, Jainism, Zoroastrianism and the Bahá'í Faith. Participants will be introduced to the origins, major festivals, customs, practices do & don’ts of the 4 religions.
The workshop is organised by OnePeople.sg, in partnership with the Inter-Religious Organisation (Singapore).
