Rafusicul 2010

OPSG Youth Wing rocked the stage with their annual Rafusicul talent competition on 25 June 2010, with heart-thumping dances and soulful songs. The event attracted close to 100 aspiring youth singers and dancers taking the stage at Jurong Point Shopping Mall, with guest performances from Studio Wu, Intunes music, Lefttool and Maressa.

Best friends Syamim Azman and Waheeda d/o Mohamood Marican bagged the Singing category’s second prize with their rendition of Michael Jackson’s ‘Black or White’ with a hint of ‘Collide’ by Howie Day but Mohamad Salihan was the one who eventually won the hearts of the judges with his rich voice. For the dance category, Freekum Boys clinched the first prize, with their unique fusion dance and professional dance steps. The highlight of the day had to be a quirky dance from ‘Freshest Nutz’, the youngest group of the competition. Check out the photo gallery below. Missed the action this year?
