The 2-day Workshop for upper- and post- secondary teachers raises awareness of key facts/features that surround commonly-discussed issues related to race and ethnicity and provides teachers with the knowledge and skills to tackle questions on racial and ethnicity issues and further enhance their roles as multicultural educators.
Participants will be introduced to models on multicultural engagement and hone their facilitation skills in a series of experiential activities. With discussions on case studies, educators from different schools can share their experiences. The diversity awareness activities for students discussions and Diversity Awareness Educator’s Kit will also be useful resources for teachers conducting classes on related issues and explorations on multi-culturalism in Singapore.
Please refer to the REAP (Educators) Workshop Brochure.
