CAMPTEEN: YOUTH RACIAL HARMONY AMBASSADORS PROGRAMME
4D3N RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMME
Targeted at Secondary school students, CampTeen: Youth Racial Harmony Ambassadors Programme aims to:
(a) Enhance multi-cultural appreciation and foster deeper interaction and better understanding amongst the various ethnic groups in Singapore;
(b) Provide a platform for youth of different races to bond through teambuilding and problem-solving activities; and
(c) Nurture a group of youth racial harmony ambassadors with the initiative, commitment and leadership to promote racial harmony and social cohesion

COST
OnePeople.sg sponsors up to 90% of the cost (estimated at $300) of the developmental programme per participant and the remaining 10% amounting to $30 per participant (No GST) is payable by the participant or the nominating school/ organisation.
The participation fee is waived for youth leaders nominated by OnePeople.sg's founding members, that is, the five Community Development Councils and the Self-Help Groups, namely, Chinese Development Assistance Council, Yayasan Mendaki, Singapore Indian Development Association, The Eurasian Association, Singapore, and Association of Muslim Professionals, and People's Association.

CampTeen is a flagship programme of OnePeople.sg and is held during the month of November each year. Applications will be open for CampTeen in September 2009. CAMPTEEN 2008
CampTeen: Youth Racial Harmony Ambassadors Programme 2008 was a residential camp programme organised by OnePeople.sg. Participants went through a residential programme from 1-4 November 2008 at the Shines Outdoor to enhance multi-cultural appreciation, and hone leadership and project management skills. Promising youths identified will subsequently be inducted in the youth group at OnePeople.sg and implement youth-initiated community projects discussed at the Camp.
Participants were treated with an array of multi-ethnic dishes, cultural dance, team-strategic games, outdoor adventure, campfire and will embark on an amazing race across Singapore's unique ethnic enclaves. The 200 Multi-racial youths were buzzing with energy as they showcased their talents and creative project ideas in the CampTeen Finale. The youths even rounded up the CampTeen: Youth Racial Harmony Ambassadors Programme with a National record, the Singapore's Largest Paper Ball Mosaic . CAMPTEEN 2007
CampTeen: Youth Racial Harmony Ambassadors Programme 2007 was an exciting, memorable experience for 100 multi-racial participants who underwent a 4D3N residential programme from 10-13 November 2007 at the Outward Bound Singapore (on Pulau Ubin) to enhance cultural competencies, and hone leadership and project management skills. They were divided into five workgroups to conceptualise and implement projects for the CampTeen Carnival held in December 2007, which showcased Singapore's multi-culturalism in support of our bid for the Youth Olympic Games 2010.
